Having worked in five industries I am able to help clients by identifying best practices and tailoring them to their unique needs.
Need a team-player that cares about people?
It's often found in business, that many are out for their own gain to the detriment of others. I've found a more fulling career through giving back and helping others succeed. That's my promise.
Earlier in my career I was recognized for making the complex simple. I've made a living out of this and my experience with communicating at different organizational levels allows me greater influence with stakeholders.
An experienced IT infrastructure support professional, I have a strong technical skill-set combined with a unique blend of Co-active coaching, leadership, and teaching capabilities to empower colleagues and provide a premier service for staff and clients.
Leaders teach others.

My IT experience consists of
This has made me an excellent consultant enabling me to apply what i learn to different types of organizations.
I am an expert user support specialist typically reaching KPI's of 20 - 30 tickets per day. I am a mid level network and server support analyst typically closing around 10 tickets per day for external clients. I am an expert in windows and I love Linux having worked with CentOS and Gentoo.
As a very detail oriented person I am able to quickly find discrepancies. I also promote documentation to bring clarity, standardization and resilisency to operations while while refining processes and procedures.
Being able to look at the broad picture and also zero in on deep technical issues, I easily work cross functionally across departments. I am experienced working with HR, Operations, Marketing and Sales communicating across departmental lines. I am also effective with speaking with the C-suite which is rare in our industry.

ICF Certified Trained Coach
I have intermediate capabilities with bash and power-shell, but desire to learn more about Python while currently gaining a strong mastery with SPL utilizing the Splunk platform.
In User support I teach stakeholders, employees and technicians how to use technology to make their roles more productive. I've done this in B2C and BPO along with private/corporate user support and as a server support analyst.
I recognized my talent for making the complex simple and I decided I wanted to explore Leadership, communication and public speaking of which I've thrived. With over 8 years experience in the Nonprofit Education sector, speaking at various levels, my communication skills are best in class and I use these skills while sharing technical solutions with clients.
I've done teaching and knowledge sharing in Nonprofits through various techniques including Facilitation, training, mentoring and coaching.
In some circles it's been said that those who can't do teach, but in the corporate world, it's really quite the opposite in practice. Those who teach really are the true experts.
Those that enjoy developing and teaching others have better jobs satisfaction and actually gain better mastery over what they can do already. It should be noted that if someone can't explain what they are doing or how something works to other individuals they likely don't understand it at the level they would if they had an interest in others succeeding.
I think strong differences result in not just performing tasks well and showing mastery, but also duplicating this within other individuals and making your department and operations stronger and more resilient when the unexpected happens.
Strong leaders gain mastery in specific areas, develop others to replace them and then move on to master other domains. It's a dream for every organization.
This also creates more trust within teammates, greater perception of departmental competency from stakeholders in other parts of your organization and an overall more enjoyable to place to work.
Having served in a variety of roles, my strongest experience is in user support. I'm very experienced in deploying client equipment internally within organizations as well as out in the field, along with the mass rollout of client technology for staff supporting a WFH model.
Supporting the rollout of back of house technology I have collaborated with engineers and architects in rolling out new Servers, switch gear, Edge infrastructure and Monitoring tools. As an Analyst I've assisted the introduction of Windows Server based products within client environments.
In NP chapters I was a part of I lead them through change management process while giving a series of talks to stakeholders.
In the Nonprofit sector I pitched an education program to a Local government organization and lead the building of this new communication, leadership and education program internally, building it from the ground up.
This consisted of mentoring, coaching and training individuals, eventually allowing the client to take over the program and evolving it into an independent entity.
I've helped launch and build two other similar programs that were community focused, one specifically oriented towards educating others in Cyber Safety.
In the Nonprofit Sector I've perfected and honed these skills for over 8 years utilizing many styles of speaking such as Q&A, Facilitation, Keynote, Change Management, inspirational, persuasive and much more.
Having been recognized in this area I can make quite a difference for your organization.
I could see from my experience in Nonprofit education that being able to facilitate knowledge was an incredibly delivery format.
Why is that?
For some learning individually is more challenging. Learning from someone more senior can be helpful and it is also more efficient at times to deliver learning to a group rather than individual mentoring.
Learning in an interactive format while allowing questions to be asked from different junior staff lowers inhibitions and barriers to learning.
When you are good at facilitating you can draw audience engagement by making it fun and interactive ensuring that everyone is contributing and learning from each other while making your corporate environment a place where knowledge hoarding is not encouraged and staff naturally progress and overcome obstacles.
This also is an incredible conduit to sharing knowledge cross-departmentally such as Cyber Safety training for staff which is often the weakest link in an organization's cyber strategy.
This past year I performed keynote style talk at ISSA in Los Angeles and OWASP in Irvine and was given recommendations for my speaking.
I also recently facilitated a 4 hour (train the trainer) Cyber Safety class online for mentees who became CyberSafe trainers.
Helping people evolve and find their own path. In a corporate sense, I help individuals better self manage, increase competence and more effectively contribute to the mission of your organization.
Mentoring is sharing information about the Mentor or transferring technical knowledge. Coactive Coaching allows the coachee to find their own path and it is driven by the coachee.
This fulfills a dream of mine in helping others and it was a perfect fit for me to pursue as a business. This is a natural progression and compliment to my leadership and communication experience helping me stimulate and bring out the best in my peers and teammates.
I have worked in a variety of industries and along the way developed great leadership, strategic planning and leadership skills, but I found I still wanted more training when it came to developing others and handling relationships.
Co-active coaching helps me build trust with others in a more powerful way and really ignites my ability to empower and develop others. I've never been more excited to bring a gifting into my tech career.
I regularly attend AITP, ISC2, ISSA and OWASP in Los Angeles. I attend Conferences that include Layer-one, Techno Digital Security & Forensics and Planet Cyber Security.
I also watch trends in IT and Cyber Security through social media, Dark Reading and other channels.
